A short, plain statement of what each party provides, what each is paid, and what happens if something goes wrong. One page, agreed once, so neither party has to rely on memory.
"The Dollar Skill Program", a twelve-week evening course in applied AI skills, delivered in two tracks:
The pilot commences with Track A only. Exact clock times are fixed with the Academy before enrolment opens — the evening shift within 6:00–9:00 PM, and the morning shift within 10:00 AM–1:00 PM should Track B proceed.
A minimum of fifteen students. The batch may run at twenty, twenty-four or more; there is no upper cap set by this sheet. Below fifteen enrolled and paid students the Instructor is not obliged to commence the batch, and both parties will agree either to postpone the start or to proceed on revised terms.
50% to the Instructor, 50% to the Academy, calculated on gross fees collected — that is, before any deduction for academy overhead, administration or premises. An equal split is agreed for this first venture.
The Academy collects all fees and deposits and provides the Instructor with the enrolment list, showing names and amounts, on the day of collection.
The Instructor's share is cleared in advance, as and when fees are received. Where a student pays the fee in full, the Instructor's half is remitted within ____ working days of that payment. Where a student pays by instalment, the Instructor's half of each instalment is remitted on the same basis, in advance of the month it covers.
Payment is not deferred to the end of the batch under any circumstances. Remittance is by bank transfer with a written reference — never cash. The Academy provides the enrolment list, showing names and amounts, on the day of collection.
Two running costs sit outside the programme fee and are borne by the student's family, paid directly to the software providers in the student's own name:
Approximately USD 65 per student per month, or USD 195 across the twelve weeks. Both parties will state these costs to every family in writing before enrolment, and neither will describe the minimum purchase as a guarantee of any outcome. Credits are used only against instructor-reviewed proposals, never as an unsupervised lump sum.
Marketing, promotion and student recruitment are the complete responsibility of Burraq Academy — including the cost, the execution and the filling of the batch to the fifteen-student minimum in clause 3.
All external material — flyers, social posts, WhatsApp messages and advertising copy — must be approved in writing by the Instructor before publication. No representative of the Academy may state or imply a guaranteed income figure. Track B carries no income claim of any kind.
Track A is restricted to students aged eighteen or above, verified by CNIC copy held on file before the first session. No exception may be made by the Academy.
No earning account will be opened in a parent's or guardian's name for a student to operate. Every student earns in their own name on their own identity documents, or does not earn under this programme.
The guarantee: where a Track A student attends at least 90% of sessions and submits every assigned proposal, and completes the twelve weeks without a verified platform profile, a live portfolio, PSEB registration and a working payment account, the fee is refunded in full. Such a refund is borne by both parties equally, in the 50/50 ratio of clause 4.
No income is guaranteed by either party, in any medium, to any family.
Student withdrawal: full refund within 48 hours of payment. After the first week, the deposit is forfeit and the balance is pro-rated to sessions delivered. Any loss is shared equally, 50/50.
All course materials, curriculum, recordings, templates and methods remain the exclusive property of the Instructor and are licensed to the Academy for the duration of this agreement only. They are not assigned or transferred.
The Academy may not deliver this programme, or a materially similar programme derived from these materials, with any other instructor without the Instructor's written consent.
The Academy provides the large upstairs classroom on all five teaching evenings for the full twelve weeks, together with working internet capable of supporting twelve simultaneous laptops, a projector or large display, and backup power covering both the room and the internet router.
Where a session cannot proceed because of a facilities failure, the Academy provides a replacement evening within the same week.
This sheet governs the pilot batch only — Track A, the track that teaches students to earn online. No commitment is made here to any batch beyond it.
What happens next is decided after the pilot finishes, on the evidence of how it actually went: the performance of the venture overall, how the students responded and how much interest they took, how many enrolled and completed, the results they produced — and how readily the Academy was able to fill fifteen or more seats. Both parties review those facts together in good faith, including the revenue share and the fee, before any further batch, any second track, or any change of terms is agreed.
Either party may decline to run a further batch, provided any batch already begun is completed in full.
The Instructor provides, at his own cost and in advance of the pilot, the complete digital infrastructure the programme runs on: the domain registration, the programme website and all its pages, the brand and design work, hosting, SSL and the associated email setup. All of it is already built and live before the first fee is collected.
This contribution is valued at PKR 100,000 and is recovered from the first batch's fee collection before the revenue share in Clause 4 is applied. It is not an additional charge to the Academy and is not payable from the Academy's own funds. If the pilot does not run, nothing is owed.
The domain and website are registered and held by the Instructor for the duration of this agreement. Should the venture end, the domain transfers to Burraq Academy at the Instructor's documented cost of registration — the Academy's name belongs to the Academy. The curriculum, materials and design remain with the Instructor under Clause 10.
Ongoing renewal of the domain and hosting is a running cost of the venture and is shared in the same proportion as the revenue share.
A short statement of terms recording what both parties have agreed. It is not a substitute for legal advice and neither party is prevented from taking any. It exists because everything is easy to agree today, when nothing has gone wrong — and it is for the month something does.
